NACo recently spoke with Jamie Hart, senior planner with the Madison County Planning Department in New York, and Kate Somers, program manager at the Randolph County Housing Authority in West Virginia, to discuss new strategies for community planning that address a variety of topics including smart growth, the aging population and workforce development.
